hi ed there is any chances to sign rvp and weasly snjider in city {Ed001's Note - there is always a chance, RVP would just be expensive to buy, but a player of that class is probably well worth it to be fair. Sneijder, on the other hand, was moved for in the summer, but he asked for ridiculous wages, more than even City were willing to pay, so I doubt it will be happening. But you never know in this game, he has not been having a good season after all, so he might be willing to take less money now.}

ed see if Mancini said to the owners of man city can i get a billion pound for players think he would get it and i am talking about just in one summer {Ed001's Note - no, the club would fall foul of the FFP ruling if they did that, but they will still give him a large transfer budget every year. All they have to do is show improvement over the previous year, ie spend the same but bring in more money so lowering the loss the club makes.}

First of all, the fact that you know where I live is slightly disturbing. You clearly have no life whatsoever.

Secondly, have you ever been to the 'Etihad Stadium'? Somehow, I doubt you have. I have been to many United matches lad, and I don't need you to tell me what I have and haven't done.

Thirdly, you claim I should support a local team. Well, how about you do this? Go onto the United site, look for a post at around 12am last night, where I show my happiness at Shamrock Rovers reaching the Europa League group stages and what it means for Irish football.

Fourthly, I will die a Manchester United supporter.

Finally, seen as you only started cheering for sh*tty in 2008 when the Sheikh took over, you should look in the mirror and take a long, hard look at yourelf. What do you see? You see a hypocrite. Don't question me as a Manchester United supporter, when, in reality, you should be questioning yourself.

ED,With Shaun Wright Phillips talking to Bolton, Sunderland & Wigan who would you say is best placed to sign him? thanks {Ed001's Note - Sunderland can offer the best wages but Bolton and Wigan have the advantage of him not needing to move. Impossible to say who is best placed as it is a personal decision, but we will find out a lot about him as a person from the choice he makes.}

Hi ed what's happining with Adam Johnson my friend said Liverpool where going to try buy him if they fail to get downing any truth in this? {Ed001's Note - I was told that Mancini would like to replace him, Johnson is not the best trainer in the world (not very good at listening to the coaches whenever I saw him train at Boro) and likes to party. Liverpool are aware that Mancini would like to replace him and made an inquiry, they have since asked to kept abreast of the situation. This is nothing to do with any move for Downing as Johnson was not expected to be available, but if he does become available I believe he is the preferred option over Downing.}

{Ed008's Note - He's highly rated in Montenegro i've seen him play once when England played them at Wembley he played a good game for them. If Mancini thinks he's good enough then thats good for City.

Not so much of a rumour but a question to the ed. Is Adam Johnson really not apart of Roberto Mancini's plans? He appears to be trying very hard to sign wingers this summer which would surely put Adam's city career in serious doubt. Do ye know anymore? Cheers {Ed008's Note - Hard to say as SWP is leaving aswell, IF Mancini signs a quality winger then i wouldn't be surprised to see Johnson leave because tracking back he doesnt help the team and at times Adam can be inconsistent just my opinion maybe they had a bust-up over playing time.

Last question. Any news of Jan Vertonghen and Sergio Canales? {Ed001's Note - the only ones I know of being likely are Sneijder (though Chelsea seem to be favourite for him), Vertonghen seems to be nailed on and there is a serious try for Baines for cash + players, I am told Bridge is one of those offered.}
